Highway Secondary School qualified for the boys Final in the East African Secondary School Ball Games currently going on in Arusha, Tanzania.
Highway Secondary School has been partnering with F.C Kariobangi Sharks as their Talent Academy.
This was a long term investment.
Their Principal Irungu Nduati who was once in Kagema Boys is so passionate about sports. His Deputy Eric Wandambusi is also a sportsmans. The school still excels in academics and other fields.

Look at The Nanyuki School, Rugby 7's team qualified for Eastern Games after investment by the current Principal Olive Minishi. The school received 156,003 applications against a capacity of 480 students in 2022. Oliver believes in creativity and innovation.

Other schools should embrace this model. Tapping and harnessing talents at their tender age in partnership with well established clubs within their regions. The schools will provide the facilities and logistics while the clubs will provide their technical support.
