A Flayombant Laikipia Politician Shocks the World as he Hosts Hundreds in a Flashy New Year and Birthday Party at His Rural Home

His Excellency Chairman Hon Maina Njenga hosted a mammoth of humanity at his home in Siria, Marmanet Ward, Laikipia West Constituency to celebrate the new year in style. He has been doing this for years it's not the first occasion. 

The colourful celebrations ended with sumptuous meals and cutting of a delicious cake as the son of the soil used the opportunity to celebrate his birthday. 

In his new year speech chairman has congratulated President Ruto for launching the Hustler Fund which is the surest way of rising from bottom up. He urged Kenyans to utilize the funds in creating job opportunities for themselves. 

He used the prime opportunity to request the communities living in Laikipia County to coexist in peace. Cattle rustlers do not spare anyone and it's important that the people should embrace communal policing. He applauded Interior Cabinet Secretary Prof. Kithure Kindiki for taking firm actions within Laikipia County as far as insecurity is concerned.

In line with the government's agenda in curbing the harsh climate change Bishop Maina Njenga requested the locals to plant as many trees as possible. This is the only way to ensure that there is real restoration of nature. The people got the chance of witnessing the serenity at the chairman's compound which is surrounded with a forest of huge trees.

On the national politics Chairman was so categorical that we went to a very competitive election. Everyone won because we are "Kenya Moja" and peace is everything despite the outcome. Therefore, it's our role as citizens to support the government of the day without discrimination or favour. For a nation to flourish all the people must work together in harmony.

The people were so overwhelmed with Hon Maina's hospitality and wise words to kick start the year. Live long Chairman!

The Dorper is a crossbreed of Dorset horn and a Blackhead Persian sheep.It was bred by the South African Agricultural Department for a suitable meat sheep to the more arid areas.
