Tales of Juthi Juthi, Pogii The Screwer and The Good Man
Based on True Story.
In the last regime, we managed to witness some crazy things unfold.
The Governor appointed his CECs after conducting the interviews using Deloitte. He submitted the names to the assembly for vetting and approval. Several CECs were rejected by the assembly.
The CECs were left hanging for almost a year in the streets. One MCA was involved in a tragic accident, the person who helped him in the hospital was a CEC he participated in rejecting his name during the vetting. As they "Tenda Wema Nenda Zako". The MCA learnt a big lesson the hard way.
Several months later the CEC with his peers were vetted again and approved by the same assembly. The injured MCA might have chosen to repay him this way.
The no nonsense CECs worked tirelessly trying to bring reforms in their respective departments without fear or favour. They fallout with their bosses namely "Pogii and Juthi Juthi".
Elites who are experts in their fields do hate micromanaging. There was no way they could continue working with them. One was sacked unceremoniously while the other one was taken to a totally different field to his profession. He was in charge of the "Rungu Men". He was replaced with an academic maize cob with just basic high school titration expertise. This was so ridiculous and hateful.
The humble man never panicked, he did his work so diligently in the new field for around 4 months when he landed a very big position in the house on the hill. The bully bosses were caught absolutely unaware by the ordeals, hurray!
COVID-19 landed and the good man was in charge of very key things across East Africa. Even those who humiliated him needed his services locally but owe unto them he was not always available. You never know the value of anything until you lose it.
The campaigns commenced and the reggae dance team was mutilated brutally by the unforgiving hustler nation. Juthi Juthi and his friend Pogii were also terribly screwed. They lost both locally and nationally.
Our great man had hay days to celebrate their failures publicly without hiding, indeed tit for tat is always a fair game.
In life always learn to respect others and always treat people with dignity. Never undermine or humiliate someone just because he or she is your junior or has nothing at that moment. Time is everything. Power is temporary.
