- In order to curb this insecurity menace tighter measures have to be applied
- Anyone who will be found in the bandit prone areas as from Monday, March 13, will be treated as bandits
Aircrafts taking part in the ongoing security operation, low altitude overflight by any other aircraft over any of the afore specified areas BANNED until further notice
Bandits will be flushed out of their hideouts in whichever means possible. The move laid down is just a start to make sure they are not comfortable. No turning back until this perennial issue is eradicated and contained.
"I assure the people of Kenya that we shall neutralize every bandit who defies the Government and engages in the atrocious killing, maiming, and displacement of people from their homes.
We are taking this war to their hideouts by land and air, with all our weight and might and with all the strength that God has given us to effectively defeat this lamentable catalog of crimes against humanity. We shall never surrender our Country to criminals." Kithure Kindiki
Leaders who are key profiteers of this insecurity issue have also been given notice.
