Nanyuki: Radio Fans Stage Online Protests Over Unexpected Departure of a Presenter
Ujuzi Radio 97.1 FM have expressed their utmost disappointments after the departure of Captain J. Irungu.
"We change plans when we encounter the unexpected or learn new information. But God has no need to alter His plans. He knows the end from the beginning, and there is nothing that can surprise Him. His purpose will be fulfilled because He alone is God. So when we make our plans, we ought to avail ourselves of His wisdom and seek His purpose. #StrongForever,"- Captain J. Irungu
The irate fans took on their social platforms protesting the move.

"Captain must come back if not so we have to be given a good reason for that," Sparter Cobra
Others suggested to stage street demonstrations over the move but some had divergent opinions.
"My dear friends captain has the capacity get even higher ranks in other stations,pray for him and ashame the devil, he's not glued at ujuzi radio others have come and gone, prayers is the key," Mutego Wa Mutego
On his latest update on social media platform Captain J. Irungu stated in vernacular that peace of mind and heart is far much better than everything.
Fans were also concerned why previous presenters left and joined another local radio station within the town.
The morning show has been so vibrant especially on the Mental Health Program on Saturdays with the Community Mental Health Practitioner Lilian Kendi and host Captain J. Irungu.
In the last one month, they have managed to host a number of leaders amongst them the former NACADA boss John Mututho, Ex-Mungiki Leader Maina Njenga, Laikipia County Commissioner Joseph Kanyiri, Nyeri Governor Mwalimu Mutahi Kahiga and Nyeri County Secretary Ben Gachigishio discussing matters on illicit brews, mental health problems and Mt. Kenya politics.
Ujuzi Radio 97.1 FM is a local radio station based in Nanyuki Town previously known as Central FM 97.1.
