Raila Odinga Defies IG Japheth Koome's Orders Against Azimio La Umoja's Protests
Azimio leader Raila Odinga adamantly defies IG Koome's orders against the planned demonstrations. Speaking at Jesus Teaching Ministry in Embakasi he said their protests will go on regardless of the police orders. "You are saying you are going to arrest everyone. I am ready for you. Koome, do not send your officers to me, come face me yourself," Said the opposition leader. The protests started last Monday where rioters were spotted maiming and destroying several businesses among them Muhindi Mweusi Supermarket in Tassia, Embakasi East Constituency. Others were captured on cameras destroy road signages in the streets of Nairobi. Odinga stood firm claiming he won't relent fighting for rights and justice of Kenyans. His concerns are solely focused on the cost of living in the country and protest over presidential victory which he still says it was rigged from him.
